Welcome to Kinkred
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kinkred app, website, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Kinkred. Please read sections 8 (Your interactions with other users), 14 (Limitation of liability) and 15 (Indemnity) carefully — they limit our liability and describe risks you accept when meeting people.
Who "Kinkred" means. In these Terms, "Kinkred", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the Service from time to time — currently an individual operating under the name Kinkred, and, following any incorporation or reorganisation, the company or other entity that takes over operation of the Service. Where these Terms limit our liability, or where you release or indemnify us, those provisions also apply for the benefit of the "Kinkred Parties": our successors and assigns, any company we form to operate the Service, and our respective affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and contractors. Each of them may rely on those provisions.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kinkred. By signing up, you confirm you are of legal adult age in your jurisdiction. Age is enforced at registration and server-side. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate anyone.
You may not use the Service if you have previously been removed from it, or if you are legally prohibited from using a service of this kind — including where you are required to register as a sex offender under any applicable law.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share, sell, or transfer your account. Notify us immediately at legal@kinkred.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
You may hold one account. Creating additional accounts to evade a suspension or ban is a breach of these Terms.
3. Your licence to use Kinkred
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
4. Community guidelines
Kinkred is a consent-first space. You agree not to:
- Send unsolicited explicit content — even on a kink-positive platform, consent comes first.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
- Harass, intimidate, or threaten any other user.
- Solicit money, commercial sexual services, or run scams.
- Share other users' private content (photos, messages, identity) without their explicit consent.
- Use the Service to facilitate illegal activity.
- Discriminate based on race, religion, ability, gender, orientation, or kink — disagreement is fine; harassment is not.
Violations are reviewed by our moderation team and may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban. Severe violations are reported to law enforcement where required.
4a. Child safety — zero tolerance
Kinkred strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes any content, behaviour, or communication that sexualizes, grooms, solicits, or endangers minors, and any attempt by a person under 18 to access the Service. Accounts involved are permanently banned without warning, content is preserved as evidence, and reports are made to the relevant authorities, including the police and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or local equivalents. Our full standards are published at Child Safety Standards. To report a concern, use the in-app report function or email safety@kinkred.com.
5. Technical restrictions
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or copy profiles, photos, or other user data from the Service by any automated or manual means.
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated methods to create accounts, send messages, or interact with the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law.
- Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any account, system, or network connected to it.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, moderation, age verification, or reporting feature.
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose, including advertising or promoting a business, without our written permission.
6. Content you post
You retain ownership of the content you upload — your photos, bio, posts, and messages remain yours. By posting, you grant Kinkred a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit that content, and to sublicense these rights to the service providers we use to operate the Service (such as our hosting and storage providers), solely as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups or as described in our Privacy Policy.
You're responsible for what you post. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and you must not post anything depicting minors, non-consenting individuals, or illegal acts. Explicit media may be automatically blocked or restricted by our moderation systems.
If you send us feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service, you agree we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
7. Moderation and enforcement
We may review, restrict, or remove content and accounts that we reasonably believe breach these Terms or put people at risk. Some moderation is automated — for example, images are scanned before they are delivered. If an automated decision affects your account and you think it is wrong, contact support@kinkred.com and a person will review it.
We are not obliged to monitor all content, and we do not guarantee that we will detect every breach.
8. Your interactions with other users
Kinkred does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification against government records, or any other screening of its users. Optional selfie verification confirms only that a profile's photos appear to show the same person who took the selfie. It does not confirm anyone's name, age, history, intentions, or safety.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and in person. We are not a party to those interactions and do not supervise them. You accept the risks of meeting people you do not know, and you agree to take reasonable precautions:
- Meet in a public place the first few times.
- Tell someone you trust where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Arrange your own transport, and don't share your home address early.
- Discuss boundaries, limits, and safewords before meeting, not during.
- Trust your instincts and leave if something feels wrong.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the Kinkred Parties from any claims, demands, damages, or losses arising out of or connected with any dispute or interaction between you and another user, whether on the Service or offline.
We provide safety features — reporting, blocking, optional verification, image moderation and safety guidance — because we think they help. Providing them does not make us responsible for your safety, does not create a duty to detect or prevent harm, and does not create any special, protective, or fiduciary relationship between us and you. We may change or withdraw any of these features.
If someone puts you at risk, report them in-app or email safety@kinkred.com. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
9. Premium subscriptions
Premium subscriptions are billed through your App Store or Google Play account at the price and for the period shown at the point of purchase. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your store account settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us. For App Store purchases, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We may change Premium pricing or features; existing subscribers will be notified of material changes before they take effect.
10. Tokens
Tokens are an in-app feature available to Premium subscribers. They are a limited licence to use a feature of the Service, not property or currency. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the Service, and are not redeemable for money.
Unused tokens expire when your account is closed or your Premium subscription ends. Nothing in this section affects any refund right you have under applicable consumer law or under Apple's or Google's policies.
11. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Because of the nature of this community, some of what you choose to share is sensitive — please read it.
12. Termination
You can pause or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect other users. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will tell you why.
On termination, your access ends immediately and your content is deleted within 30 days, subject to the retention described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 6, 8, 13, 14, 17 and 18 survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We don't guarantee that you'll find a match, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that other users are who they claim to be. We do not endorse any user.
The Service depends on third parties we do not control, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, and our hosting, storage and payment providers. We are not liable for any failure, delay, outage, data loss, or security incident caused by those third parties or by your device or network.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Kinkred Parties will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or connected with your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of the Kinkred Parties arising out of or connected with the Service, taken together, will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. If any exclusion or limitation in these Terms is found unenforceable, it applies to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the rest of these Terms remains in effect.
14a. Time limit for claims
To the extent permitted by law, any claim you bring arising out of or connected with these Terms or the Service must be brought within one year of the date on which you first became aware, or reasonably should have become aware, of the facts giving rise to it. A claim brought after that period is permanently barred. This does not apply where the law that applies to you does not permit a contractual limitation period.
15. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Kinkred Parties from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs brought by a third party and arising out of: your use of the Service; your content; your breach of these Terms or of any law; or your interaction with any other user. We will notify you of any such claim and will not settle it without your consent, which you must not unreasonably withhold.
16. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Kinkred infringes your copyright, email legal@kinkred.com with: a description of the work, the location of the content on the Service, your contact details, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We remove infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers.
17. App Store terms
These Terms are between you and Kinkred only, not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google. Kinkred, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
For apps obtained through the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge:
- Your licence to use the app is limited to a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that it may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.
- Kinkred, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- Kinkred, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights.
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
- Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
18. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore, unless the law that applies to you as a consumer requires otherwise. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory legal right you have as a consumer in the country where you live.

19. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Kinkred about the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in force.
- No waiver. If we don't enforce a provision, that isn't a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment and transfer to a company. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer our rights and obligations — including these Terms and your account relationship — to a company we incorporate to operate Kinkred, or to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We will give notice in-app before any such transfer takes effect, and your continued use of the Service afterwards constitutes your agreement to it. The transferee assumes our obligations to you, and these Terms continue to apply unchanged.
- Events outside our control. We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Language. These Terms are written in English, which is the governing version.
20. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in-app before they take effect; continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
